T56 Application Question?
Hi I have a LT1 that came out of a 93 corvette and was wondering if the T56 from the f-body LT1 is the same as the corvette's. Also was wondering what other donor cars would have the right T56 to bolt on my engine?

LT1 corvettes never got a T56, they had 6-speed ZF manual transmissions.. Totally different

I probably should have provided more info, I have an LT1 with a 700r4 that came out of a corvette. My plans are to put this in my 84 z28 and was looking to swap out the 700r4 for a T56. Will the T56 that they put on 4th gen LT1s bolt right up to my block? I thought they were the same block but I'm not sure?
