more help with clutch
more help with clutch
I replaced the transmission in my car. and the slave cylinder cause it went bad and started pouring fluid. Now i rebled it. and the clutch pedal has to be dragged up with your foot off the floor board. and its then when you push it back in. It gets about 3/4 of the way and stops. you have to force it the rest of the way down
Now when i was bleeding. I left the rubber boot out of the master cylinder for the clutch,
Was that defeating the purpose and i need to have that in to prevent air from getting in it?
I need help asap

Re: more help with clutch
Sounds like a bad master to me, not air in the system. As long as there is fluid in the master cylinder you don't need the boot while bleeding.
