Tightenloop

Hi,
I have a couple of questions about this kit installation. I going to install this kit myself, so want all things are clear and understood before I begin.

First question is mostly English understanding issue.
On page 1 step 1 manual states "Grind this land flush all the way around. Its not fuzzy". What should I do at this step? As far as I understand I simply grind "groove" around the valve and not cut. I watched installation video (700R4.mp4 10:36-11:10) looks they do nothing to upper part of pressure valve just leave it as it is. Can somebody explain me in simple words what to at this step.

Second question is more technical. 700-2&3 reprogramming kit also include spring kit which can solve accidental 3-4 clutch apply at hi revs. Since I like to rev up my little 305 up to 6000+ in first I find useful these springs to install. what are you thoughts abut this. Can installation of these springs cause unwanted problems?
