z bar assembly
z bar assembly
i finally tracked down all the bushings i was looking for that go on the zbar.
the only problem is im not really sure what order they go on in, and they came with no paperwork.
from looking at it i would guess the felt one goes on the end (keep grease in) with the white nylon one behind it, and the little half circle one behind IT.
am i off?
Thanks

Re: z bar assembly
The big ballstud threads into the block and has a seal on it.
The other end gets a white nylon bushing, the ballstud, another white nylon bushing, a wire round (half circle?) clip and the felt.
The outer end ballstud sets into the external bracket and a nut w/ lockwasher retains it in place.

Re: z bar assembly
Can't find the pics I'm thinking of right now.
I haven't bought any in years; they were white years ago but certainly could have changed. If they fit the i.d. of the bar, and the ballstud fits in correctly, you're good.
