Neutral a 700R4?
I was just wondering if you can (safely) neutral a 700R4 while the car is moving. I know that this is a very dangerous practice on a TH-350 and TH-400 because it can cause the direct drum to explode.
On my old 700R4, I accidentally went to N once going about 75MPH. I was just wondering if this can actually be safely done for future reference.

I wouldn't make a habit of that. Install a B&M ratchet and you won't have to worry about that happening.

Yeah i'd avoid it too. That might have been what caused my last transmission to go by by so fast. I did thise often as my electric exhaust cutout (I was lazy and wired it to my hatch pop switch) That switch only works in P and N so if I was driving down the road id let go of the gas put her in N and open up the exhaust cutout. Regret it now.
