Hi i am new to this so i hope someone can help me. I just bought a 1985 Z28 with a 305 TPI. The tranny shifts 1st and 2nd then acts like it goes into neutral..I had 2 tranny places tell me 2 different things. When i pulled the tranny pan there was only a quart of oil in it after i bought it. I filled it up and put a new filter in it. It still doesn't shift to 3rd. If there is anybody w/ knowledge on why my tranny is doing this please let me know. If you think the tranny is just shot what other cars carrying a 700r4 can i get one from with out doing major modifications. Or does it have to be straight from a camaro? Thanks J maro
