Help! - Torque converter selection

Just bought an engine today for my 84 Z. It is a 350 bored .60 over, has flat top pistons, 041x heads, and a summit cam and lifter kit (sum-k1107).

Summit recommends something around a 3000 stall converter. I only plan on driving it mainly on weekends. Also, its for a 700r4.

Any input on my setup is appreciated, but my main questions are:

What stall for the torque converter?

Lockup or non-lockup?

If y'all need more info to help let me know. Thanks

Re: Help! - Torque converter selection

gotta know rear end gearing also. and does your transmission have lockup? i am assuming yes. Why not go lockup? and if you want a graet converter go Vigilante. Your not going to find one for less than 650 bucks new though
