I am looking at replacing my 355sbc with a 540ci, either an iron block or aluminum, haven't decided which one to get yet. Either way, I am looking at about 650HP, and will need a new transmission to handle the power. I already have a new rear end picked out, but am not sure what to get for a tranny. Any advice would be appreciated...
