question about B&M megashifter.

Ok i don't have one but really thinking about getting one. So for people that have them my questions is when you shift with it can you do that at anytime. like lets say im driving from a dig and when i take off and start building up speed can i shift it around 4,000 rpm from 1 to 2nd. i have had my transmission rebuilt with a stage 2. 700r4 with vette servo and transgo shiftkit. so im looking to rachet my transmission when racing someone. and another question. when looping the cable ontop of the transmission do you do that from threw the hole when you take your stock shifter out. because i was under my car yesturday and notice there is no room to get your hands under there let alone a cable. so just wondering if that looping is done from inside the interior. thanks.

Yes you can! You route the cable from the inside of the b&m shifter to the transmission. kind of fun to drive for the first month or so, then it starts to get old because it's no better then switching gears from 1st, 2nd, 3rd like you can a stock shifter only in style.
