tv cable
cable wasnt hooked up when i bought the car and theres no 3rd or od,is the tranny shot or has to be rebuilt?it does try to greb 3rd but just barely.
and i do have the cable adjusted correctly

Not having the TYV cable attached usually ruins a tranny pretty quick - sometimes in as little a several blocks of driving. Most likely a rebuild is in order.
