Bm megashifter and 700r4

Im fairly new to my camaro, i have had it for a couple years but rarely drive it, thats changing this summer lol. i almost switched to honda but then drove camaro for first time this spring and realized how awesome it is.

anyways let me get to the point of my question lol

first i have a bm megashifter 700r4 350 carb and some engine mod

first problem i had was from takeoff either putting it in drive or slapshifting it from 1 to second, either way the rpms would go way up trying to get into second and then once grabbed its fine,

problem 1 was fixed somewhat, searched the forum and diagnosed the tv
cable so i went out and did the tv cable and set it,

fixed one of 2 of my problems
now if i put it in drive and floor it we are goldin shifts through gears fine 1 through 4 with no slippage

but now if i put it in first and start shifting upwards to second it does same thing rpms climb and eventually go into second

possibly i think it could be adjustment on either the shifter or the adjusted on the transmission for the shifter, if it has nothing to do with the shifter please let me know

i am ready to light some tires up but dont want nothing to break yet lol

i got some more questions for you guys and ill start posting some pics of it and asking questions on how to get her more power and putting the power to use

thanks
