4th gen rearend difference
I have a 4th gen reared that has rear disc, 3.43 gear ratio and posi. that is going into my third gen. My question is how do I find out what year 4th gen it came out of 93 -97 or 98-2002? I have the calipers and rotors. I also have the number stamped on the axle tube. Have read and searched trying to find a way to id but am having no luck.
Thanks for helping

Re: 4th gen rearend difference
98 up has the style of parking brake that looks like little drum brakes inside the rotor.
97 back the parking brake uses the disc caliper, like thirdgen ones all do.
