With the right bellhousing is should bolt up but you will probably blow up the Saginaw in short time. Original they were only put behind low performance(and low torque) engines.
If you want a 3 or 4 speed it would be best to step up to a Borg Warner Super T-10 or Muncie.

Depends on the car.
Both basically won't fit this kind of car, without spending a fair chunk of change.
Pretty much any Chevy transmission will bolt up to the little BBC.

Yep.
The bellhousing part is easy. I have no idea what shifter would work well in the F-body but you don't seem to be in the habit of indicating you have an F-body either.
