ok so I was driving and I heard a loud bang from the tranny and it wont move! it just rev's and wont go into gear when its on but off yes. So I took it to the shop and they said there was a small leak (possibly from the drain bolt being loose)... i was wondering if a rebuild kit would fix it...if so, with or without syncros? do i need other parts? can someone help me with like a tutorial or a link to a good one? Pleeeease?

P.S. its sorta a project car so I dont mind saving money and learning how to keep the car in good shape.

 

What happens if it's off and in gear, then you start it?

 

It only turns on....but won't go

 

So pull it and see if the clutch disc hub is busted.
