So I'm rebuilding my 4l60 (1993) and I want to upgrade to the larger clutch pack (alto). Can anyone tell me if there are any parts (other than adding the extra plates I need to change to make the upgrade?

I seem to remember one of the sponsors saying I need some sort of extra steel plate or something. I can't find the thread though.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

I would use the borge warner if you haven't already bought the alto's. I would go to http://www.700r4l60e.com/ then go to online store and order them. Or give probuilt a call and you can get a good clutch set up.
