Looking at buying a 96 Z28 to do a 6spd swap into my 88 Iroc. Have questions

What can I use from the 96 as far as pedals, slave cylinder etc? Can I use the factory aluminum driveshaft from my Iroc?

Also whats the difference in the rear ends?

Sorry for all the noobie questions. Im actually more of a mustang guy but Ive decided to give the Iroc a go.

thanks

Rear is 2 inches wider, so the iroc rims wont work unless you want them to stick out. Drive shaft should be fine. I have never transferred pedels over but some people do it with no issue and some say they had to get a 3rd gen set. That you will have to research.

you will be able to use.
rear-end will blot in, no issues, tires will be 1" further out, I had no problems (stock ride height)
bell housing
pedals
drive shaft
seats

with some mods
lots of interior parts
front break calipers (brackets needed)
windshield washer tank

unknown
flywheel/clutch depends on you engine and whats in the 96. (this is being Mr Obvious) you get the idea.

this is what I know there is lots of info here just need to spend some time looking.
Have some fun!
