I bought a 1987 camaro iroc. It was switched over to a turbo 350 tranny. But the guy ended up using a block of wood as a spacer for the tranny mount on the crossmember. My question is what tranny mount can I use for a turbo 350 in a 1987 camaro. It is going to be a street and strip car so it needs to be a good mount. Any information would be appreciated.

 

Couple different ways you could go. If you would want to upgrade the torque arm too, I have Spohn's th350 crossmember with driveshaft loop (their torque arm mount to that instead of the trans. I swithched to a th400 and have no use for the crossmember. I know some companies sell bolt it crossmembers such as Spohn, and BMR. Good luck and get that wood out!
