Help with Trans Number
I have a five speed tranny that is a borg warner. The guy before messed with either the tranny or engine. The number I spotted right away on my tranny was right up by the shifter on the driver side. From what I could reed it read 1352066936b3. Not sure if all the numbers are right but should be close. I want to know if its orginal or what?
Note: I also posted one about my engine search no engine numbers in general engine.

Re: Help with Trans Number
1352 is always T5
-066 is not a valid T5 code.
The only location on a GM RWD T5 for the Borg-Warner ID number is either on a decal up high on top of the shift-rail cover
Or on a metal tag (originally held by a tailhousing bolt.)

Re: Help with Trans Number
You might check the sticky at the top of the page of a ton of T-5 info.
