clutch not fully releasing/ not shifting

hey guys just got my car going after 4 years, heres my set up i hope you guys can steer me in the right direction. i have a mild 350 with a t5 (savin pennys for my tko but i wanna drive) its a non w/c with a hurst shifter and centerforce dual friction clutch on a stock flywheel. i have every gear when the car is shut off, but when its running, it doesnt seem to go into gear unless i almost force it but it doesnt move when i have the clutch in? i can start the car in gear and it doesnt move.

what im thinking is it looks like the clutch fork adjustment key is depressed in? i had this whole set up working when i had my old 305 but had stock clutch and shifter? i dont know if my missing something else? the clutch seems to be fully bleed but how else could i tell? any help would be appricated

Re: clutch not fully releasing/ not shifting

How do you have your throw out bearing installed.

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tran...t-go-gear.html

Scroll to the end of that thread where there are two pictures...a right and a wrong way of installing the throw out bearing. That was most of the cause for my hard shifting. The rest of it i assume is a slight air bubble in the clutch hydraulics still.

Re: clutch not fully releasing/ not shifting

i believe it is installed correct cause i did it wrong once and learned lesson there but could have slipped when trying to get the trans in, ill try pumping the clutch a bit more incase of air (i just filled it up when i put it together) thanks tho. but if it doesnt work i think ill just get a new throwout bearing and fork
