How do i fix my spedometer
Ive read the posts on the top with the formulas and they only confused me
i went from a 2.73 to a 3.42 limmited slip, keeping the same engine and 700r4 tranny
Now my spedo is optimistic. It reads a few higher then it really is.
my question is, how do i fix that? Please state it simply, like do i redo a cable? pictures much appreciated if you have them thanks

Re: How do i fix my spedometer

It's not even pre-algebra, it's basic multiplication and division, that you can do with a calculator.
There's 4 ways to determine your unloaded tire diameter, and all 4 give the same result. Once you have that, you can go ahead with the basic math.
If you have 26" tires, then you need the gears I just removed, 17 tooth and 45 tooth.
We're not here to do your homework for you, this forum already has everything you need, except cash and labor and the hand tools, to solve this problem.
