Clutch hydraulics
Clutch hydraulics
So from reading here it seems the replacement for our thirdgens seems to be the GM 12559912 , which is for the '93-'97 cars. Since this part is also for the LT1 cars I assume it will fit/work on a thirdgen? Anyone here used one?

Re: Clutch hydraulics
Yes it fits and works fine. Only thing is, the line is about a foot longer, so you'll need to coil it up neatly and secure it.

Re: Clutch hydraulics
Not much more info to it.
No I wouldn't "recommend" it, as such; but I wouldn't "recommend" AGAINST it, either. It's just ... another option.
It's only necessary when using a T-56, as the T-5 line is about a foot too short to work with that. So I guess you could say, a LT1 T-56 type of clutch would require it.
It has the advantage that the line is braided stainless, but the disadvantage that the line is WAY long. Other than that, doesn't make much difference.
