I have an 84 camaro berlinetta it had the stock 305 in it with a 700r4 tranny... i threw come clutches having some fun in the snowlong story short i put a new 700r4 and a new 355 in it..and i have recently put another tranny in it because the last one i had in it would shift into second but then the motor would rev really high and never shift like it was in neutral.. now on this on it shifts into reverse and 1st second and then it does the same thing no power and reving really high?!?!?! i have been doing some research and i have come to the conclusion it could be a sunshell? i have the tools and stuff to replace it but is that all will need to be replace?? is that my problem if i have second and revers tho? i would appreciate your opinion

 

Need to clarify, does it have good second gear then rev when it shifts to 3rd? Or does it rev when it shifts into 2nd?
