ok so i mounted up the transmission two days ago and was hearing a noise as if something was hitting.. so i took it down again and found that the clutch plate was on backwards. so i assembled everything back up and now i am hearing a loud screeching noise. it comes and goes but it is extremeley loud. also my clutch pedal just goes in like jello. and it gives no gear engagement except a grinding noise in 3rd and full engagement to 4th. will this be caused by the slave cylinder or throw out bearing needs some grease? or what else are my options? just want more info before i decide to take down the tranny and start all over. i have a video of it that shows how loud it sounds just don't know if i can upload it on here?

 

clamping a clutch disc in backwards can bend or break it.

 

yea i had checked the clutch disk before i put it back up and everything was good so i figured everything will work fine.. any thoughts of the noise or maybe i can upload the video so you can hear it?
