LS1 T-56 and BBC swap need help.
Ok, so I swapped a 396 into my 91 and picked up a cheap ls1 t56 that i rebuilt and am installing. I already got the bellhousing conversion and stuff and I have the clutch, flywheel, master slave and hyd throwout bearing, I was wondering if I am in need of anything else. I've never installed something like this before and just wondered if someone had any tips or tricks that would help. Thanks!

I talked to the gearbox and they recommended a Howe throwout bearing. I'm for some reason a bit skeptical of how the whole system works, I guess if someone could educate me a little more on it Ill be more confident in it...

Yeah, I returned it and got the 82870, why is it loose around the input shaft?

The diameter of the tob is bigger than the input shaft until the very bottom

Re: LS1 T-56 and BBC swap need help.
Ok, as I installed my clutch today it all clicked. The bellhousing adapters got that little like tube that slips.over the input shaft for the throwout bearing. Right? I installed the clutch and was looking at the whole set up and then it came to me haha. I just gotta put the Damn tranny back together and I'm good. Oh daniel... What did you do as far as the master cylinder? I just got a wilwood universal one

i used the oe master cylender then had a -4 fitting welded to the end of the steel braided line. dont forget to check clearance between the clucth and the bearing
