I started changing the torq arm bushing then stopped and left the car on jack stands for a week, finally finished it up today, went for a drive and heard a loud whine from right under the trans tunnel. Only in first gear and gets louder as speed increases, any ideas? did i break something?

 

this may sound odd but did you happen to shift the rear up or down when u took off the touque arm is so could threw the pinon angle off in the rear and could be that. On my adjustable t arm when it was off it made the rear whine but coulda been a freak thing

 

i left the touque arm on the whole time, the car still drives and shifts like it should just the noise from the trans tunnel. i cant figure it out.
