SGI speedo box question
Car is a '90 Camaro, transmission is a t56 out of a '94 firebird. I've got the dakota digital sgi-5 hooked up exactly as per the instructions in the sticky in the top of this section. My speedometer does work, but its reading way too high, indicates about 100mph when I'm doing 25. Pushing the "down" button (or even the "up" button) doesn't seem to do anything. If I push them a lot or hold the button down, after a couple seconds the box will just shut off (LED goes off) and my speedo drops to 0 and will stay that way until I restart the car.
Anyone ever run into this before? I did some searching and found other people have the 4 switches set to off on on on, my now are off off on on.. Or possibly use a different output on the box?

Re: SGI speedo box question
i installed one of these on my recent electronic autometer speedometer conversion, the speedo would work ok until i stopped it would jump to 145 mph.. the sgi box is probably getting noise on the power wires, i ran my vss directly to the autometer speedometer and the problem went away.
