9 bolt rear-end disc brake question

I bought an 86 Camaro with a 9 bolt in it, the left rear brake caliper has a slow fluid leak. I do not know what year and model of car the rear end came out of, when I go to get a caliper repair kit am I going to have a problem? Does anyone know if all 9 bolt rear-ends use the same brake calipers? I will probably remove the caliper and take it to the parts store with me unless someone knows that they are all the same.

I believe all rear disc cars up to 1988 used the same caliper. In 1989 they changed to an aluminum caliper, so I quess its a question of what you have an iron or aluminum caliper rear end.

On the money. If you're uncertain which you have, check my vbGarage (little shedlike icon next to my online status) for a pic of the 89+ alum PBR version with 11.7" rotors. If yours doesn't look the same, then you have the 88- iron Delco-Moraine version with 10.5" rotors--which, of course, you should have if the rear is original to your car.

Ok, will check when I get a chance, I know the rear end has borg warner stamped under the center section.
