Tire spin????

I have an 89 camaro and she is stock. 305. Do not want to change a thing. She started spinning tires when put in gear. Revers, drive it does not matter, she will "chirp" every time when cold. what is causing this and why did it just come out of nowhere? Can you all help?
P.S. happy holidays to all!!

Re: Tire spin????

I had an 89 astro that did the same thing and never found the cause. Now the Camaro is doing it and with winter here would like to fix it before the roads get bad.

Your idle is at 1000 rpm's in park. That is high, you should be at 500/600 rpm's..
