transmission cooler placement

i currently have a large B&M cooler in front of my radiator and behind intercooler but i want to move it somewhere else. Last summer the car was running a bit warm past the point htat i like so i am trying to bring temps down. Where is a good place to put it? could i mount it on the firewall where the heater box used to be and put a fan on it? i am trying to get some photos or ideas on where to mount it. I do not have much room under the hood becuase of all the turbo related stuff

I don't know for certain, but this pic appears to show that the rear cooler that is obvious, is plumbed to the Auto tranny.

Re: transmission cooler placement

If you intend to put a fan on it, anywhere you can make it fit will do fine. Mine is currently under the passenger side floor but I intend to move it to the back of the car this winter. Just like it's mounted at the front, use hard lines as much as possible.

The only real reason to have it at the front blocking the rad is airflow. Mounting it under the car or at the back doesn't get the airflow but a simple fan will fix that.
