will it bolt up right?

I got a 2.8L 5spd camaro and I'm thinking about dropping a V8 in it and my question is, will the transmission from the V6 bolt up to a 350? I know if it does bolt up to it than its probably not gonna last long but Until I can get a better tranny

No, bolt patterns on the bellhousing are different.

Re: will it bolt up right?

I will bolt up the issue is the clutch. The V8 clutch is 10.5" and had 26 splines. The V6 tranny has a much smaller clutch with I think 14 splines. So you will need a 10.5" clutch disc with 14 splines.

Yeah I know gear ratios suck haha, that's why I said if it did bolt up that the tranny wouldn't last very long but who's right??
