700r4 ?

I know this question is probably out there but I don't have alot of time to search at for it at work.

Will any year 700r4 work in our cars... like one from a 4th gen?

Thanks and again sorry for not searching properly.

Re: 700r4 ?

Unless it's from a 93, a fourth-gen has a 4L60E which is a different animal.

What Aperion said, plus it needs to be from a f-body V8 engine. The f-body 700R4s used on the V6 engines won't bolt up. Assuming this is for your '89 TPI car.
