is there a list of aftermarket rearend suppliers? i know about strange, currie, moser. but is there any others that build bolt in rearends for 3rd gens? im lookin for either the 9" or 12 bolt. yes ive done some searching. found a couple of other places. but i thought it would be nice to see if there is a list of places or generate a list of dealers/websites.

Re: aftermarket rearends

Currie, Moser and Strange are the main suppliers for all the venders who sell aftermarket diffs although there's a very small handful of other manufacturers.

www.dtscustom.com comes to mind. They have a 12 bolt and Dana 60 for third gens but it's also possible that they're just selling Strange diffs.

As for dealers who sell those diffs, a google search can provide countless pages but if you really want one, use a vendor from the TGO sponsor banners first.

This setup looks really awesome.. They do aluminum center section with any carrier which makes it a ton lighter and almost as light as a 10 bolt (with a spool it's as light as a 10 bolt apparently)..

The only thing is that when I contacted them a year ago or so, they told me that they did not make the complete package with TQ arm and xmember for 3rd gens because they did not have a sample 3rd gen tranny xmember handy, they pretty much only do it for 4th gens, although they offered to do it if I sent them a 3rd gen xmember..

What do you guys think?
