What does this sound like? T5
I've got a non world class T5 in my 86 at the moment. A while back I did a little burnout in it. Dropped the clutch in 2nd and banged 3rd and when I hit 3rd it was like I hit a wall and missed the gear well, I can't drive no problem. When the motor sits back down and I try to crawl on home I don't have 3rd at all or 4th either. Its just like the car is in neutral. There is alot less resistance from 3rd to 4th than 1 to 2 or up into 5th. Everything else works fine just no 3rd or 4th. Maybe a roll pin came out? or maybe a broke shift fork.

I agree with sofa that it prolly broke the shift fork. Now....... If you keep that sort of driving habit up then you really need to think about upgrading the trans or you can count on repair bills to fix it. Dont get me wrong, Im not bashing or harping on you, Im just reminding you of somethign im sure you already know. T5's in any version were not exactly known for there durability and damn sure weren't made to tolerate dropping the clutch in 2nd gear...

Yep broke the fork. Invest in a shifter with stops if your going to be slamming gears like that. If your lucky like I was back in the day I just bent one. It was hell getting it into gear but it would go with some work. I drove it right down to the dealership and traded it in. They had already test drove the car so they didn't drive it again.
