Ive gotta 355 alotta mods done to it, w/ holley 750 ultra dp. my trans is a raptor 700r4 by PATC, w/ a Hughes 3000 stall lockup. its built w/ billet& hardened parts. its all new, shifts fine BUT after its in ovrdrive & i let off the gas it shudders until either i slow down w/ brakes or gas it,then it quits. I can pull it back in third let off gas an it doesnt do it. any ideas please.
Also is there a way to check tcc lock up wire, should it be 12v all time or?

 

Yup, mine did the exact same thing. Never found the problem, it was slipping in 2nd gear so I got rid of it.

 

The torque converter will do that is the lockup clutch disc,they sale Dr.tranny shutter fix.

 

I'm not sure. today i put a derales tranns cooler in it, ran a hot wire to tc lock up wire. it stays hot all time unless i hit the brake. so thats workin rite. 13.9v. Idid notice that it didnt happen all the time just everynow & then. thinkin this could be a slite lean condtion. also Im using msd pro billet dist w/out vac adv. use to but long story short. that would help gas but would it fix this? i guess i'll try the shutter fix lol forgot to flare trans line about 5 quarts in the street!
