U joints ???

Car: 1988 Gta trans am
Engine: LR4 4.8
Transmission: 98-02 t56 6 speed
Axle/Gears: Bw 9 bolt (3.70’s) pbr rotors
U joints ???
Ok so I got the driveshaft out I'm looking to replace the u joints since they been in 1988 how hard is this to do on my own do I need a special tool or can I use regular hand tools ???

You need a large bench vise and some sockets. One larger than the cap and one smaller.

Oh looks like I gotta drop them off at a shop don't have a vice to do this job
