Car: 1990 Camaro RS
Engine: 350 Vortec Demon 650CFM
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: Posi
S10 Torque Converter
Today i learned that the S10 torque converter would be an option for a 2000-2200 stall in my 90 Camaro. I have a 305 TPI LB9, 3.73 gears, headers, flowmaster exhaust, Crane Cams HI-6 ignition box, accel coil, Moroso Wires. Will the s10 torque converter allow me to keep my lockup so highway is ok? what year S10 and what engine would this be ok to use from? Is this a good idea and will I see a difference. Let me know, thanks

that would be the rating with the original engine, the more torque you put to it the higher it'll stall.

sorry to bring this thread back to life but how about this s10 torque converter in a 350 vortec what will that stall at? and also what would be the optimum stall for a 350 vortec. Id like daily driver material stall but just to wake it up
