Found pin in trans pan plz help!

Found pin in trans pan plz help!
Hey guys i have been trying to figure out why my trans will not **** out of first gear for a few weeks now.I went over the tv cable deal that was all good checked the gov.gear that looks brand new….kinda left me stumped!….Then today i dropped my trans pan and found a small solid pin on the magnet and im sure thats what my problem is any idea on what this pin could be?Thanks guys any input would be a big help!
