if i had to guess, i would think you are asking if a t5 will hold up behind a lt1?
Yes, if you dont beat on it. But the t5 is weak and not the best choice here. The matching t56 which would normally be bolted to the lt1 would be the far better choice.

The T5 bolts to an LT1 exactly like bolting to a 1991 305.
