Icon forged pistons flat top 2v....11.02 comp.
Scat steel crank
Dart Pro 1 215cc 2.05/1.60 64cc
.616in .622ex. solid roller comps cam
Crane 1.6 Roller rockers
MSD billet dist.
MSD blaster 2 coil
MSD 8.5 wires
MSD 6al box
Barry Grant Gold Claw 975cfm mech. sec.
Mallory 5-port fuel press. regulator
P.P Hurricain single plain intake

True cool Aluminum radiator
K&N 3"/filter
Coated hedman long tube headers w/duel 2 1/2" pipes & 2 two chamber flowmasters dumps before the rear
9" w/spool & 4.56's

Im sure this combo is gonna make some good power...
The delema is that, I was talking to my machine shop guy and told him that I was thinking about swaping a T-56 (94 to 97)and he said they are junk and that the gearing will be garbage with the setup that I have, He said that the 1st gear would be like a granny gear from an old ford pickup.....any thoughts on this...

And doesn't the T in T-56 stand for Tremec....or aren't all stock T-56's Tremec's

Re: T-56 delema.....

The 94-02 F-body MM6 ratios w/ 2.66 first / .50 sixth are exactly what you should choose for 4.56 gears. He may have had an experience with the base model 1993 Camaro (there were two) T56 ratios. Or he may be stuck on the idea that a 2.29 first gear Muncie can't be beat. Either way, ignore what he said.

The T4 and T5 were around 15 years before Tremec bought Borg Warner's light-duty transmission line. So the T matching "Tremec" was just luck. B-W intro'd the T56 for 1992 Vipers and they sold their light-duty product line to Tremec later in the 90s.
