i have an 84 TA with a 700r4 and the computer was long gone before i bought this car, not a problem for the carb 350, but ive heard that without a computer to control the converter lock up it can continue to engage and disengage while driving

do they make a stand alone computer to handle this problem?

Summit sells a kit that u can wire a switch to lock up the converter i believe all u gotta do is wire it to the controller on the transmission an when ur not on the highway u can shut it off pretty cool i think
