Hydraulic TO bearing

Hi guys Im in the process of swapping 700r4 to T5, I am strongly considering doing a hydraulic TO bearing simply for long tube header room, I know the stock master cylinder will work but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what line to use, obviously the master cylinder is a roll pin and so is the stock slave, but the hydraulic TO bearing has a threaded line that takes a flared end, anyone have any idea on how to make a line that will work? I have searched the s**t out of this website and can't find anything on it, Thanks guys

Re: Hydraulic TO bearing

There was an article in GM High Tech performance magazine about this you should check out. They're using the T5 in their Formula Project Snowball build with a Mcleod hydraulic throwout bearing (MCL-1302 I believe) and show an adapter that is used to connect the two.

Re: Hydraulic TO bearing

There are a few different TO bearings, such as the McLeod mentioned in post #2.
You should contact the maker to ask what thread / fitting it uses.

Re: Hydraulic TO bearing

I'm using a hydraulic throwout bearing. I bought an adapter that uses a roll pin to install it in the master, and then is a -3AN to connect the line too. I think the adapter piece is made by Russel or Earl's. Dont remember though.
