Rear end clunk

I had searched the site for my inquiry, but was not able to find an answer.

I was wondering if anyone may have experienced the issues that I am having with rear end on my 1991 Z28. When I accelerate from a standing stop in 1st gear (vehicle is a 5 speed), I hear the rear end clunking (I guess it also refers to backlash?). This is the only time I hear this clunk.

Any thoughs on what could be causing this?

Thanks in advance.

And as long as you're under there you may as well also check the trans mount
