Aftermarket tranny
Aftermarket tranny
The car I am planning to obtain soon should eventually be running around 400 rwhp (350 small block, standard trans), and I don't know what trans I should go after. I'm looking at either 3.73 or 3.90 gears though.
I also need to look into a 12 bolt, and if I'm buying a new dif should I add an aluminum drivetrain? I only ask because it'd be nice, but I'm not sure how much it'd cost
purpose for car is to drive almost daily, and tear **** up on the track
any suggestions/feedback would be nice

Re: Aftermarket tranny
Go for a T56. Thats about the most common upgade for manuels in our cars, its not horribly expensive, and has TONS of swap info if you search for it

Or maybe I should just ban you rather than giving a warning?

Re: Aftermarket tranny
you could always go with an automatic trans. im not a huge fan of automatics but ive built some pretty tough auto for some friends. the last one i built was on a 10 cts-v making 675 hp. and the guy loves it. my buddys got a 4th gen making 450hp and running a 4l60e.
if you wanna try looking at an automatic try www.eatmyshift.com or www.transmissioncenter.net
