I was driving home, slowed to turn on my road and then went to accelerate when I noticed the trans didn't kick down to 1st gear, so I came to a stop and we.t to take off and realized there was no first gear. I eased the car about .25 to. 5 mile to my house and then noticed there was no reverse and I could smell HOT tranny fluid but no leaks. Let the car cool for a few hours, started back up and nothing, it wont even roll in neutral, feels like its bound up. Could it be the torque converter, 1st & rev drum, need some help on this one, on a very slim budget.
