What rear end is this?

I happened to run across are car that is being parted here locally, and the adjustable torque arm caught my eye... then noticed the cover is not a 10 bolt. It this a 12 bolt? Looks like my buddies S60

Might have to try and scoop it up. Used rear end... Anything I should check before putting it in the truck?

Re: What rear end is this?

Is it a 12-bolt? Does it has.....I dunno.....12 bolts in the rear cover, or just 9?

I can't see the full rear end cover in your pic, but I'm betting that it is a 9-bolt since it has the rubber plug for the Inspection/Fluid Fill hole in it.

Re: What rear end is this?

As said above.
The rubber plug says its a aussie 9bolt.
Used in 350, 305 5sp TPI camaro IROCs/Zs, T/As, Formulas,GTAs and 3.8 TTAs from 85ish to 89.
The 89s have the best rear brakes, PBRs, The iron caliper rears are not so good, just because of the brake setup. The rest is the same.

Re: What rear end is this?

Thanks guys! Yeah I wouldn't have even asked if I could count all the bolts... thanks CL pics suck.

Yeah Just didn't want to waste my time driving a couple hours if it wasn't worth it, and it appears now that it is not worth running down and picking up. Thanks again for the quick reply.

9-bolt > 10-bolt so if the price is right, I'd go get it. Well not for my car, since I already have one but you know what I mean.
