T5 speedometer gear question

I think I already know the answer but I am assuming you are not supposed to be able to spin the speedometer drive gear freely if the speedometer gear is ok or even there. Reason is the sppedometer has been replaced as well as the cable and the driven gear and still no movement from the speedometer.

Re: T5 speedometer gear question

Correct. It may be worn down, installed incorrectly (with regard to location) or have moved due to lack of proper locating clip.
