Hi All, I have a '92 RS that was originally a V6. I have an Olds 350 in there now, but the stock tranny is still in there. Must be a T5 i presume. The bearings in the tranny are very tired and almost thrown out. My question is, what is a good, cheap 5 speed transmission that can handle around 400 HP??

 

Its not the hp ratings that matter its the torque ur prob better off puttig a auto in it 700r4 or the 200r4 out of a monte carlo ss car if u want to keep the standard setup get urself either a tko500 or either a t56 swap kit from a 4th gen 93-97 trans am or camaro totally worth doing an ull get two overdrives out of it
