Engine: 2.8/TBI/TPI
Transmission: V8 T-5/700R4 x2
Axle/Gears: 3.42 open/2.73 open/ 3.27 9 bolt

You should do a big search to find out this answer. Its been covered a thousand times over.
In short, I wouldn't do it. The V6 transmission is weaker than the V8 unit with a smaller input shaft. The clutch disk is different due to the different input shaft. The gear ratios are different as well.
I actually had a custom disk made for my V6 and I now run a V8 T5 in my car. My V6 transmission didn't last long under my ownership. The V8 trans is holding up fine.
