Richmond Street 5-Speed Problems
I have a street 5 speed and I am having problems shifting with this transmission. I have torn it apart and inspected the syncros and they seemed fine. I have heard that that are notoriously difficult to shift, but I was wondering if anyone has found a way fix to this? Input would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, and very difficult to shift when cold. It may sound strange but it will shift better when the RPM is run up higher.
For fluid use straight 30W non-detergent regular oil and add a bottle of posi additive to it.

Thanks for the replies! I will definitely try the 30w and the posi additive before I go the more expensive route and have it sent in to be looked at.
