Re: What goes here
You will need a clutch safety starter switch in there. The black bracket looks like the one that braces the driver's aluminum front accessory bracket to the exhaust manifold. The other 2 rusted ones are unfamiliar to me.

Re: What goes here
The 2 "rusted" ones are quite possibly the most important thing in the whole ball of wax...
They go from the ends of the pedal pivot bolt, to the master cyl U-bolt ends. They keep the firewall (which is after all, just an axpanse of paper-thin sheet metal) from merely bending and letting the MC move out of the way, when the pedal is pushed.
The thing that's circled is for the cruise control; it disengages the CC when you push the clutch, just like the one does when you push the brake.

Re: What goes here
I think actually the place that is circled is for the cruise control disconnect switch for the clutch. The clutch safety switch had a rod that clicks into the clutch pedal arm.
This shows part of the clutch safety switch which screws to the side of the bracket. Brake switch removed for picture.

EDIT: Looks like I have the older style clutch release switch. But still it looks like the newer style doesn't go where it is circled.
EDIT 2: This is the clutch safety switch for the later year pedals

Re: What goes here
Not completely sure, hard to tell in that pic; but it would about HAVE TO be a fragment of the remains of the former fluid reservoir. Wouldn't have a choice to be anything else.
Nothing wrong wth the slave that I can see in that pic. Not saying much though.

Re: What goes here
